“The hope is that these maps will be consulted by many, but above all by those who must think and draw policies“
Our project
The project #mapparoma started in February 2016, with the objective to communicate in an easy-to-read form, quantitative data about the city of Rome. We publish thematic maps, created with scientific rigour on the bases of existing data from different official sources. These data describe urban, demographic, social, economic and political characteristics of the city with a high level of spatial detail.
The founders of #mapparoma are Keti Lelo, Researcher of Economic History at the Department of Business Administration of Roma Tre University, Salvatore Monni, Associate Professor of Economic Policy at the Department of Economics of the Roma Tre University, and Federico Tomassi, public manager at the Italian Revenue Agency.
